As she lands on a photo of her and David, who is going to play our love interest, the song heather by Conan gray starts playing. This is where our flashback begins and the camera starts zooming in on the photo. The camera zooms in on a photo of David and Macaria and flashes back to the moment the photo was actually taken.  Welcome to my planning blog! Amid conducting all the necessary research to produce our music video my group developed our plan to produce our video... The key components to adequately plan our music video is to set up our costuming, props, locations, backup plans, and a schedule costume:  the video will focus on average teenagers so costuming will be standard clothing for teenagers, casual wear. props:  the hoodie that serves as a costume will also serve as a significant prop in the music video, there is a significant line in the song that reads, "I still remember the third of December, me in your sweater..."   Hello everyone! Welcome to my Music Video Research Blog! Before conducting a professional, well produced media segment, commercial, film, or music video, adequate research is needed prior to production. To produce the Heather music video, my group and I took on the extensive research process. The first step was to review our song and look at the lyrics to help us develop the story behind our song. When songs are turned to music video, the videos commonly portray the central message or story displayed by the song. So to properly convey a message we went through listening and re-listening to the song to get full interpretation.  To take our research to the next step, we began to watch numerous music videos using the song to its' correct context to gain further insight. The artist of the song Heather, Conan Gray, released a music video, however his music video was not the most cinematic for research processes. I'm working as a group of three on this project. I'm working with Sarah and Al'janae. I met both of them while i was in this class. Ive never worked on a project with them, however, i have noticed they both have a nice work ethic and they always participate. All of us get along well and i'm excited to work on this project with them. Before picking a song, we all brainstormed video ideas and explained how the video we made would correlate with the song. After discussion, we decided to do the video idea that i came up with. We chose the song "heather" by Conan Gray. The song is very story telling and the lyrics could make a large contribution to the plot that we're thinking of. All of my group members know the song so none of us would have to go out of our way to learn a new song. I am confident that my group is going to be able to come up with a great plot to match this specific song. We all agreed to the song without any conflict and we came up with great

  My name is Macaria Linarez-Castillo.  I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High and I looking forward to taking AICE Media Studies.  I am  genuinely  excited to take this class. What excites me about taking AICE  Media Studies is the impact media has in every facet of our lives.  The history of media has changed so much in my lifetime.  Also, there is the way Media influences and reflects human behavior through communications, and social sciences.  I am fascinated by the impact media can have on peoples lives and want to learn more about how media is going to continue to influence our day to day lives and our futures. My favorite realm of media is through music. Music is a form art that people can express themselves by and many different people can relate to.
