Music video

Heather is complete! I'm very satisfied with how this video turned out. All the hard work definitely paid off. The actors and crew did very well and it was a great experience to share with each other. Although we ran into some problems we worked through it with teamwork. If i could go back, i wouldn't have done it with any other song. It was a great song choice and the story we made to go with it fit nicely. Incorporating different camera angles and sounds made the video much better. I can't wait to show more people this music video. I will continue to use the skills that i learned while making this video, and apply it to situations later on in life.

My music video is finally complete! I asked other kids in my AICE media class for feedback and everybody loved it. Each time i watch the video i feel so proud to be one of the people who created it. It truly feels like an accomplishment. The actors in my video did a great job as well. David (the main male actor) and Madison (the person who filmed) were so kind for participating in the process. They took free time away from themselves to do us this huge favor. This video wouldn't have been possible without them. Aljaenae was ill and still participated in the project which is greatly appreciated. The entire process was a great experience that taught me a lot. I learned about how to get the right lighting and angles. I learned about teamwork and collaboration as well. Working as a group on this project was great practice for when I'm older and have to work on large group projects. Sometimes it can get hard to incorporate everybody's ideas into one thing, but with communicatio

Editing blog

I was quite pleased with the editing process of my groups music video.  My group used the app IMovie to edit the video. All of my group members are familiar with this app so it was an easy choice. While filming, we played the song in the background with the intent of making the editing process easier. If each part of the video was designated to a specific part of the song, the timing of the video would be just right. This ended up helping the process a lot. First, I added all the clips together in the correct order to make sure the storyline of the video made sense. After all of the clips were in the correct order, we added the background music and trimmed the clips to make them fit the right lyrics. This was a very important step considering how storytelling the song is. While we were filming the part of the video where Sarah and David were walking together, i noticed that they were laughing. This part of the video is supposed to show David and Sarah having a good time so we decided

Filming Blog

Filming was a new experience for everybody. My group filmed on December 3rd. My group picked this specific date because it correlated with the song.  The song starts off with the lyrics "I still remember the third of December". When i found out i would be filming in the month of December, it only made sense to choose that date. My friend Madison agreed to film for us since one of our group members was ill. Madison's mom drove us to the park and waited for us to film the video. We were very thankful to be provided transportation to the park,  however, we didn't want to keep her mother waiting for too long so the filming process felt rushed. Even though my group followed the storyboard, filming was a bit complicated. When theres a group of people working together, it can be hard to accommodate everyones ideas. We attempted to film each scene at least two times just in case we would run into any problems while editing. We filmed at a public park which also brought some

Troubles in the plan

The music video didn't go completely to plan. My group planned to film the video on December 3rd.  Sarah, David, and I were going to be the actors and Al'Janae was supposed to film. The group member who was designated to film got hands, foot, and mouth disease which is contagious. This means that she had to be absent for multiple days and it would interfere with our video. We didn't know when she would be able to come back to school. This was super unexpected and none of us could've done anything to prevent it. Though the situation was unfortunate, Sarah and i had to act quickly and find somebody who would be able to film for us. It was a bit of a struggle to find somebody who would take time out of their free time to do this favor for us but we ended up finding somebody. My friend madison agreed to film for us. Her mom was going to drive us to the park which seemed to turn out perfectly. Another option we were considering was to simply pick a different day to film so t
