 The opening titles of my film will appear in the font labeled  "Shadows into light". Some credits may also be typed using the font "Kalam".  Working title: Alana's BestfriEND The title will be Bold font written in all caps. This makes it simple for the audience to understand. The rest of the credits wont be in all caps. Titles will appear with a fade and be slidden out Titles should last for 2-3 seconds each  The text will be written in black or white font depending on the setting, basic colors will be used.  The first word and first name of the credit will be put in a font three times larger than the rest of the words, The type of credit is an important aspect for the audience to understand. Fore example, Executive  Producer- Macaria Linarez.

Planning Blog

 Location- Hagen park, Dairy Queen, Macaria's House.  Time- We will film from 3:00- 5:30 on Tuesday 3/1. We will film from 2:00-5:00 at my house on 3/6.  Date-  We will start filming all the scenes at the park and Dairy queen on Tuesday 3/1 and we will reserve Tuesday 3/7 just in case we haven't finished filming the park scenes.  We will film the scenes at my house on Sunday 3/6  and reserve 3/13 as a backup date for the scenes at my house.  We will start editing on Monday 3/17 and continue until the 3/28  Actors- Paulanka Bastien and Dream Grant  Props- The main prop we will use is a diary. We will also use pictures of the characters incorporated in the end of the film.  Costume- They will be wearing casual wear. Paulanka's outfit will change throughout the film as she's trying to imitate Dream.  Health and safety- My parents will be supervising us at the park with a first aid kit present. Genre research: Get out

   Another film that Sarah and I reviewed was the movie get out. This movie centered around a black man who visits the parents of his white girlfriend. Her parents turn out to be keeping a secret that regards the estate and the town itself, but I'm just analyzing the features of the movie. Get out has a lot of headshots and eye level shots. this technique allows the viewer to witness all the emotions that cross a characters face and how the situation can influence their reaction. Not only that but during these scene Chris, the main character, would look directly into the camera, and directly at the viewer. This technique amplified that connection even more, because at times it seemed like he was crying out for help from the audience. This is a skill I want to use in our final task to really evoke emotion from the audience. Unlike in the Eli movie where background music was prioritized, Get out prioritized diegetic sound.
