 My music video is finally complete! I asked other kids in my AICE media class for feedback and everybody loved it. Each time i watch the video i feel so proud to be one of the people who created it. It truly feels like an accomplishment. The actors in my video did a great job as well. David (the main male actor) and Madison (the person who filmed) were so kind for participating in the process. They took free time away from themselves to do us this huge favor. This video wouldn't have been possible without them. Aljaenae was ill and still participated in the project which is greatly appreciated. The entire process was a great experience that taught me a lot. I learned about how to get the right lighting and angles. I learned about teamwork and collaboration as well. Working as a group on this project was great practice for when I'm older and have to work on large group projects. Sometimes it can get hard to incorporate everybody's ideas into one thing, but with communication it can get done. There was so much trial and error in this entire process, however, each complication was a learning experience. I also believe each member of my group grew closer from this video. We got to know each others ideas and more about each others personalities. I still think our song choice was a great choice and fit perfectly for the video. I wouldn't want to do it with anybody else. Im so grateful for this experience.

Filming solution

 welcome back! In the previous blog i discussed how i got sick a couple days before filming. I had to find a solution to the issue. I contacted my group members, a day before our planned filming day, letting them know that i wouldn't be able to attend. They informed me that it would be okay because the scenes being filmed didn't require every group member to be in it. I still wanted to be included because i know from our previous times filming that during the process we often make changes from the storyboard to better our film. These changes take place during the actual process of filming each scene as sometimes we realize that our storyboard is complicated to follow exactly.  I think it's important for each group member to contribute by adding their input to these changes as it adds as much perspective as possible. How to make a short film

  Blog 3 What is the take away from the video?   I have acknowledged all the aspects and things needed to make a film. I learned the writing tips, production and post production steps and procedures. I could take away that there are ways to be better prepared for filming then I have before.     What good information did you gather while watching  it?   Budgeting and the resources you have access to will be crucial throughout the entire making of the film. When editing, cut the scenes down until you can't anymore which will shorten the film to just the important parts of it. Preparation is key for a film. However, even if you create a storyboard for the entire film, there still may be changes while making it. Stick to a theme and a tone and let it guide the story. If you do not do so, it will confuse the audience. Lastly, taking care of your cast is important because if you do not have respect them, they may not make it as easy to film.     How do ...
