 This was our second day of filming. The second day of filming was significantly more difficult than the first. One of our group members who played a main part in acting in the commercial was absent. My other group member and i had to figure out an alternative way to successfully film a commercial. I ended up following the story board but made it an independent act. After brainstorming and using teamwork, my team member and i were able to come up with a plan that will make sure we complete the commercial. Just in case Loudui was absent on Thursday, our last day to film, we had completed filming a commercial with just myself as an actor. If Loudui showed up on Thursday, we could complete the scenes including her that we started on the first day of filming. My other group member and i filmed a complete commercial but we waited to edit everything just incase we got the chance to finish filming the original commercial with Loudui. Kiara and i don't know each other too well so this gave us an opportunity to get to know each other better and and express any personal ideas that we came up with. I feel more comfortable with Kiara now so i'm very excited to complete the rest of the project with her in our group. Both of us came up with cool ideas and worked well together. We were able to film in the original spot that we picked so that helped out a lot. We filmed the same scene multiple times to make sure that when we edit, we have multiple clips to choose from. The filming process ran smoothly and we didn't run into any conflict.  I feel confident that the editing process will run smoothly considering i got to work with my other group member and we were able to overcome a large conflict while filming. We completed filming in a timely manner so if Loudui does show up on Thursday, i am sure we will complete filming. Our group never discussed what we would do if one of the group members were absent so figuring out an alternative was a bit hard. Loudui doesn't have to stress about being absent because the backup plan that Kiara and i came up with turned out successfully.  Even though we ran into conflict that nobody could've prevented, we solved through it from simply working together. The media i chose is a teamwork because without teamwork, the filming process of the commercial wouldn't have been successful.

 welcome back! In the previous blog i discussed how i got sick a couple days before filming. I had to find a solution to the issue. I contacted my group members, a day before our planned filming day, letting them know that i wouldn't be able to attend. They informed me that it would be okay because the scenes being filmed didn't require every group member to be in it. I still wanted to be included because i know from our previous times filming that during the process we often make changes from the storyboard to better our film. These changes take place during the actual process of filming each scene as sometimes we realize that our storyboard is complicated to follow exactly.  I think it's important for each group member to contribute by adding their input to these changes as it adds as much perspective as possible. How to make a short film

  Blog 3 What is the take away from the video?   I have acknowledged all the aspects and things needed to make a film. I learned the writing tips, production and post production steps and procedures. I could take away that there are ways to be better prepared for filming then I have before.     What good information did you gather while watching  it?   Budgeting and the resources you have access to will be crucial throughout the entire making of the film. When editing, cut the scenes down until you can't anymore which will shorten the film to just the important parts of it. Preparation is key for a film. However, even if you create a storyboard for the entire film, there still may be changes while making it. Stick to a theme and a tone and let it guide the story. If you do not do so, it will confuse the audience. Lastly, taking care of your cast is important because if you do not have respect them, they may not make it as easy to film.     How do ...
