Conflict in filming

According to plan, my group was supposed to film on Monday, March 28th. I had to change the date because Sarah, my other group member wasn't able to attend that day. She let me know last minute that she wouldn't be able to attend on Monday either. I'm getting nervous because i wanted to complete filming before august so we can ensure we have enough time to edit. Now we are planning to film on a week day because we have to maintain a timely manner while working on this film. If my group member isn't able to attend again, i will have to video call her and film those scenes independently because the filming dates can't continue to get pushed back. If i video call her while filming, we will be able to discuss which angles to use and we can both be able to participate in the filming process. Although it's not the most efficient method, we will have to do it in order to make a successful film. One thing i have realized while filming is how to use teamwork. While working with a large team, it's complicated to accommodate everybody's schedule and needs. Communication is very important and considering none of us have our own cars, we have to also work around our parents schedule. I'm going to do as much as i can to make sure we can finish filming soon. I am planning to finish by the end if this week so we can get straight to editing. While editing we may notice that we need to film more scenes or redo a certain scene so we have to leave enough time for that as well. The actors we are using aren't in our class so its complicated to get them to make time to act considering they have other classes. Im super thankful that they are acting for us, allowing sarah and i to put our complete focus into directing and filming.  I have learned a lot from this experience and its all helping me improve my skills.
