Filming solution

 welcome back! In the previous blog i discussed how i got sick a couple days before filming. I had to find a solution to the issue. I contacted my group members, a day before our planned filming day, letting them know that i wouldn't be able to attend. They informed me that it would be okay because the scenes being filmed didn't require every group member to be in it. I still wanted to be included because i know from our previous times filming that during the process we often make changes from the storyboard to better our film. These changes take place during the actual process of filming each scene as sometimes we realize that our storyboard is complicated to follow exactly.  I think it's important for each group member to contribute by adding their input to these changes as it adds as much perspective as possible. I wondered how it would be possible for me to add input to these changes if i couldn't physically be there. I remembered last year when filming an opening sequence, one of our members couldn't attend. In response, we used modern day technology to include everybody. Today there's so many communication options that we can utilize to solve this problem. My group and i already discussed which scenes we wanted to film so i simply told them to text me if any changes were made to any of the scenes in real time. I also suggested that we can Facetime if they needed a recommendation for a camera angle to use in a specific scene. This way i could also input my opinion regarding the changes and offer another point of view from home. I proposed that when we get back in class, they show me the scenes they filmed and how they turned out. This gave me insight as to how the filming process went overall and helps me visualize what changes were made. Although it wasn't as satisfactory as actually being there, it gave me great insight and understanding to where we are as a group so far. Watching the scenes also gave me insight of how our film is going to look like when its done and its overall flow. Unexpected things happen all the time throughout life, it's important to be able to work through challenges and compromise especially while working in a group. Im glad that together, we were able to work through this and use everybody's potential to the highest extent.
