 My name is Macaria Linarez-Castillo.  I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High and I looking forward to taking AICE Media Studies.  I am genuinely  excited to take this class. What excited me about taking  Media Studies is because of the impact media has in every facet of our lives.  There is the history of media which has changed so much in my lifetime.  Also, there is the way Media influences and reflects human behavior through communications, and social sciences.  I am fascinated by the impact media can have on peoples lives and want to learn more about how media is going to continue to influence our day to day lives and our futures.  Today was the day that Sarah and i picked out the background music we will use for our opening sequence. Sarah has been sick for the past couple days so we couldn't discuss too many details about the film. Since she hasn't been at school, i decided to video call her in class so we can discuss the film. We scrolled through royalty free music on YouTube and discussed which one would be the best fit. I looked over the storyboard and the previous clips we filmed to experiment with the music. We spent about thirty minutes scrolling until we found two songs that we agreed with. We decided to use a sound titled "Creepy Piano Loop- horror and suspense- Royalty free Stock music" and Royalty Free Music- Bump in the night- Horror- Kevin Macleod. I also discussed which scenes certain music and sound effects would be used in. I'm planning on using the piano music quietly in the background of the majority of the film.
